Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, said today that the main scope of yesterday’s protest in the squares of the capital was to seize power through the use of force.
“The protest was clear: to seize power through violence, without the will of the people and through turmoil”, said Mustafa during today’s government meeting.
According to the PM, the violence was produced as a result of the ultimatum that organizers gave to police for the removal of the cordon.
“The protest had political objectives and the aim to damage private and public properties is unacceptable”, says the PM.
“They attacked police and attacks against police are an attack against institutions of Kosovo”, declared Mustafa.
PM Mustafa also spoke about Trepca: “The government demands from the opposition to solve its issues in parliament. The government vows that it will back state institutions. Our people need peace, calm and economic development”, declared Mustafa. /ibna/
