The Republic of Montenegro and the Republic of Italy signed today an agreement (photo) for the extradition in the respective countries of persons who have problems with the justice system.
The Ministers of Justice of both countries, Dushko Markovic of Montenegro and Ana Maria Cancelieri of Italy, declared after signing the agreement on Thursday that the agreement for the extradition of these persons will make activities of organized crime more difficult, because the instruments that will be used are very efficient.
The two ministers have signed the subsidiary bilateral agreement, along with the European Convention for Extradition of December 13, 1957.
With the endorsement of the agreement, Montenegro is obliged to extradite to Italy Montenegrin citizens who are wanted for criminal activities which can bear a sentence starting from 5 years imprisonment. /ibna/
