Albanian football player of the Slovenian club, Maribor, Agim Ibraimi was announced the football player of the year by the Macedonian Football Association.
Ibraimi was announced the best after the results achieved this year, with his debut in the Champions League with Maribor, but by being announced as the best goal scorer with FYROM’s national team.
“I would like to congratulate all of them who were given awards and wish them success in 2015. As far as the award that I was given is concerned, I can say that I’m very proud and happy that my country does me this honor”, said Ibraimi in the ceremony held last night in Skopje.
The award for the youngest football player was given to Jasir Asani, who plays for Vardar. Other football players were: Borce Manevski, Igor Angelovski, Dejan Blazevski, Aferdita Salihi-female football player of FYROM’s national team, while Rabotnicki football club was announced as the team with the best fair play of this season. /ibna/
