Following a March 2018 memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by Greek Aegean and the European corporation Airbus SE, at a ceremony that took place in Athens, Aegean Airlines confirmed it ordered and is to purchase 30 aircrafts of the A320neo family.
The purchase agreement regards 10 A321neo and 20 A320neo and was signed by Aegean President Eftichios Vassilakis and Airbus Chief Executive Tom Enders.
“Currently, Aegean Airlines operates a fleet of 49 Airbus aircraft, 37 A320, 11 A321 and one A319s”, airlinerwatch.com notes.
