After 9 intensive hours of talks with the brokerage of the European Union, an accord was reached last night in Brussels between Kosovo and Serbia on the registration plates for motor vehicles.
Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri declared that this according no longer allows the use of temporary plates, which Serbia has applied for Kosovo’s motor vehicles.
“This agreement will facilitate free movement of citizens and vehicles and both countries showed that mutuality is the main principle for the Brussels agreements and the development of bilateral relations”, Tahiri said.
The application of this agreement will start immediately, as soon as these two countries make their technical preparations which relate to this issue, while the model that will be applied will be the one applied between Greece and FYROM. /balkaneu.com/
