Sunday’s referendum in FYROM will be monitored by a large number of foreign and domestic observers.
According to the State Election Commission, the referendum will be observed by 11.907 local observers and 439 foreign observers. 197 foreign monitors have been assigned by OSCE/ODIHR, 35 by the US embassy and the rest of the observers come from the EU member countries and countries of the region.
Meanwhile, the referendum on the name has also awoken the interest of world media. 80 journalists have been accredited by 32 foreign media outlets to report on this referendum. /ibna/
