Around 9 thousand refugees from Middle East and Africa have sought asylum in FYR Macedonia since the end of June, following the changes in the asylum bill.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the largest part of the refugees come from Syria-around 6 thousand refugees, Afghanistan 743, Iraq 485, Pakistan 366, Somalia 268, Congo 238 and Palestine 221.
The Ministry of Interior says that it continues to secure the border in the southern part of the country and assistance is being offered to refugees who are entering the territory of the country. /ibna/
