Romanian Prime Minister Ludovic Orban said that, according to a survey carried out by the Authorities, 80 percent of Romanians wanted to spend their holidays in Romania and recommended that they organize their holidays in the country, saying “we have so many beautiful places to see”.
“According to my research, 80% of Romanians want to spend their holidays in Romania. In other words, the number of Romanians who want to spend their holidays in Romania is much higher compared to other countries. I made this recommendation because of the epidemic as well, but also to show support for local tourism, for people to spend their holidays in Romania, because we have so many beautiful places to see (…)”, Ludovic Orban said on Friday, when asked if the authorities had been notified of the new air traffic measures, given that “many people want to go on holiday abroad”.
The Prime Minister also clarified the resumption of international air traffic, stressing that the government issued on Thursday a decision on new easing measures, including one on air traffic. /ibna
