Macedonian border police have stopped 80 illegal refugees who have been sent back to the Greek border. The Ministry of Interior reports that the illegal refugees were from Afghanistan and Syria and they were trying to enter the country through illegal routes in the southern part of the border.
After their information was checked by the authorities, they were sent back to the Greek territory.
Regional center for the accommodation of refugees in Gevgelija says that 120 refugees have been accompdated in it.
State authorities in Skopje have warned a new wave of refugees. President George Ivanov has said that the country will face a new wave of refugees, but on the other hand, according to him, measures have been taken to cope with this new wave. /balkaneu.com/
