7.5-billion investment from a Hungarian businessman in Cyprus

In a huge7.5-billion investment with a Hungarian businessman proceeds the Archbishopric of Cyprus, in the area of Yeroskipou, Paphos.

After today’s meeting, attended by the Ministers of Interior, Socrates Hasikos, and Agriculture and Environment, Nick Kougialis, Archbishop Chrysostomos expressed his confidence the countdown for beginning of the implementation of this important project will start soon.

The Archdiocese for this investment will provide a big expand of church land.

According to the Archbishop, the project will include three to four hotels, a marina, and an artificial island on which block of flats will be built.

The aim of the Hungarian investor is to attract wealthy businessmen from his country, and elsewhere, who will carry their companies in Cyprus and will reside permanently on the site he plans to create.
