Minister of Interior, Skender Hyseni has declared that the number of Kosovo nationals who have remained killed in Syria and Iraq since the start of the conflict is 46 people.
Following a visit in the Commune of Pristina, Hyseni said that the number of Kosovo nationals who have joined foreign conflicts is a cause for concern.
According to him, Kosovo is ranked among those countries with the largest number of fighters in Syria and Iraq per number of residents.
“Based on the information that we have, the number of Kosovo nationals participating in these conflicts is 300, while 46 of them have remained dead”, Hyseni says.
Meanwhile, according to Fatos Makolli of the Department Against Terrorism at the Ministry of Interior, around 65 people who have joined foreign conflicts are from Pristina.
On the other hand, mayor of Pristina, Shpend Ahmeti said that the level of security in Pristina is satisfactory, while according to him, several projects implemented by the commune, have led to a reduction in the number of accidents. /ibna/
