In Skopje, parliament convenes for the second time to revise the state budge. The government has proposed a revision for the budget, as it has allocated 36,4 million euros for the compensation of families that were hit by the floods in Skopje and Tetovo.
The government’s decision is seen as entirely electoral by the opposition. It says that the government is taking this decision for political purposes ahead of the early elections, without making a detailed evaluation of the causes and consequences of floods.
Yesterday, parliament passed another bill for the budget, which entitles the government to allocate 5% of the budget funds, in cases of crisis and natural catastrophes. This amount is over 130 million euros. /balkaneu.com/
