33 refugees killed in two shipwrecks in Turkey

At the time Angela Merkel was discussing with Ahmet Davutoglu in Ankara to address the refugee crisis, two boats sank in the Aegean Sea killing 33 refugees.

According to the latest information, an inflatable boat from Dikili in Izmir sank while it was heading to Lesbos, killing 11 refugees. The Turkish Coast Guard rescued three persons.

A few minutes later came more tragic news from Edemit, where another boat sank killing 22 refugees who wanted to greach Lesvos. The Turkish authorities announced that only 4 people survived.
