250 children in FYROM live without parents and family

Around 250 children in FYROM live without their family. Data published by UNICEF show that 70 children up to the age of 3 do not live in the comfort of a family environment.

A conference is being hosted in Skopje to discuss ways into providing for each child in this country a safe and comfortable family environment.

The deputy minister of Work and Social Affairs, Elmi Aziri says that a strategy will be drafted to support children without parents in an institutional way. According to him, this plan will address this problem by helping families who are unable to sustain their children.
