25 Slovak police officers have been stationed on the border between FYROM and Greece in order to help with the management of the refugee crisis. According to the government in Skopje, they are part of the third mission of this country in assisting with the management of the crisis on the southern border.
Slovakia has warned that it would send extra officers, but this is expected to happen in the month of September.
Slovakian police is overseeing the border, but it is also helping with patrols in Corridor 10 roads, which are used by illegal emigrants.
The added presence of police from EU member countries followed the warnings of the president of the country, George Ivanov that in the months to come, there would be more refuges coming from Syria, Iraq and other countries of Middle East. /balkaneu.com/
