A citizen from FYROM has been killed in the fights in Syria, as part of the terrorist group, ISIS. The man in question is the 24 year old B. Sakiri from the quarter of Saraj in Skopje, who a year ago had gone to Syria to participate in the fights.
His relatives have confirmed the news, by saying that they were informed about the death of their son in the fights in Syria. They said that they didn’t know that he had gone there to participate in this conflict.
Authorities in FYROM have launched a massive operation against organized groups that recruit young people for the fight in Syria and Iraq.
In an operation name coded “Cellule” organized last year, 10 people were arrested and among them, imams of mosques in Skopje, who were given prison sentences.
President of the country, George Ivanov said that around 60 nationals of FYROM are participating in the fights and conflicts in Syria and Middle East. /balkaneu.com/
