Today, the Albanian minister of Finance, Arben Ahmetaj has presented the 2019 draft budget, declaring that this budget foresees a 4.3% economic growth. According to him, budget revenues will be 27.5% of GDP, budget deficit will be -1.9% and public debt will go down to 64.9% at the end of 2019.
Ahmetaj also said that next year there will be a fiscal consolidation, a reduction of debt and growth of incomes.
According to him, this is the fourth year in a row that no new debt has been incurred, concluding that the 2019 budget will fund new policies, while next year, there will also be a pay rise for public sector employees. /ibna/
