2015 was a difficult year for Kosovo. Immature actions damaged democracy and the image of the country in the eyes of the international partners.
This is how the speaker of the parliament of Kosovo, Veseli started his address in a meeting with journalists.
Veseli said that parliament faced an unprecedented situation.
“Putting aside all political disagreements between majority and opposition, we must admit the fact that this year, Kosovo faced a difficult test of democracy. We must be realistic, we haven’t passed this test yet”, Veseli said.
According to him, the opposition’s actions in parliament have caused damages in many aspects.
“With its actions, the opposition seriously harmed parliamentary democracy, it damaged the image of Kosovo in the eyes of international partners and the citizens, by breaking the law in the place where laws are approved”, he said.
Veseli said that time and energy have been wasted on an entirely negative agenda, neglecting the interests of the citizens, economic development and international community. /ibna/
