Over 150 refugees from Syria have been stopped last night in a train in FYROM which was carrying coal in the railway station of Veles, a few kilometers away from the border with Greece.
Local police said that following a thorough search inside the train at the Veles border crossing point, Syrian refugees have been discovered hiding in carriages carrying coal from Greece. The destination of the coal was “Feni” company from Kavadar.
Among the refugees there were women and children from the age of 15 to the age of 16.
In the railway station, the refugees have been taken under police custody and have been sent to the asylum seekers’ center in Skopje. /ibna/
