This morning, police in FYROM have arrested 25 employees of the Court of Skopje, 13 of which were judges.
Their arrest was made upon the order of the prosecution, following suspicions of financial damages to the state budget amounting to 11 million Euros, by not executing court orders and by prolonging them.
Prosecution of Skopje acted upon the charges pressed by the Ministry of Interior by arresting the 13 judges and the other 12 court employees.
This is the first time that such a large number of judges are arrested in FYROM. Their arrest comes on the day when the European Commission publishes the progress report on the country. /ibna/
