In this context, the Secretary General of ESO, Panos Leivadas, wrote to the head of the agency Rostourism, Mr. Savonov, requesting the assistance of the Russian side to ensure the repatriation of Russian tourists and resolve all outstanding financial pendencies relating to greek tourism enterprises .

Most of the 3,000 Russian tourists, who came to Greece through the agency that went out of business, are located in Rhodes and Crete. Many Russian tourists through the agency have also visited Bulgaria.

On July 5 the tourist office “Intaer” went out of business and a month later, on August 5 “Labirint” also declared bankruptcy.
