Zaev: I will resign as prime minister if the name agreement is not approved in the referendum
His intention to step down as Prime Minister of fYROMacedonia in the case of the Prespes Agreement to resolve the name issue is not approved in the autumn referendum, expressed Zoran Zaev, stating however at the same time his certainty that the agreement would be approved in the referendum by a strong majority.

"I am sure that the agreement will be approved in the referendum with 75% to 85%, as is the percentage of those who favor the country's accession to the EU and NATO", Zaev said in an interview with a television channel in Skopje.

The Prime Minister also said that the state's legal services are working on the possibility that the country's President, Gjorge Ivanov, will not sign the ratification of the agreement by the parliament of fYROMacedonia./IBNA
