UEFA decides: FYROM-Albania will be played in Strumica
The qualifying match for the Russia 2018 World Cup between FYROM and Albania on 5 September will be played in the Strumica stadium.

This is the final decision brought in by UEFA after verifying and assessing the conditions in the stadium.

The report issued by the UEFA inspectorate initially revealed the lack of suitable conditions for the match to be played in this stadium, but after UEFA gave a deadline to the country’s football association, the suitable requirements were delivered.

Meanwhile, the Strumica stadium will also host the match against Lichtenstein. “Mladost” stadium in Strumica has a capacity of 6500 seats and is part of the UEFA third category stadiums. /balkaneu.com/
