Slight increase in the price of petrol in Slovenia

Review Hari Stefanatos

There was a slight increase in the prices of fuel, at midnight on Monday, in accordance to the pricing model adopted by the government. The regular petrol went up by 1.5 cents reaching €1.45/lt., while the price of diesel increased by 0.6 cents to settle for €1.376/lt.

According to OMV Slovenija fuel retailer the premium now costs €1.476/lt. going up by 0.3 cents, while heating oil is now 2.5 cents more expensive costing €1.022/lt.

The prices of fuel in Slovenia are adjusted in a fortnight, while the changes are based on a pricing model that takes into account the price of oil derivatives on global markets and the exchange rate of the US dollar.
