The Romanian tennis player Simona Halep, World No. 5, won the USD 2,413,663 women's Rogers Cup in Montreal on Sunday, after defeating American Madison Keys in straight sets 7-6 (2), 6-3.

Halep, who's rebounding World No. 3 on Monday, has imposed in one hour 15 minutes in front of the World No. 12.

Simona Halep won her career's 14th title and her 3rd this year. Here are Simona's titles: 2013 — Nuremberg, 's-Hertogenbosch, Budapest, New Haven, Moscow, Sofia, 2014 — Doha, Bucharest, 2015 — Shenzhen, Dubai, Indian Wells, 2016 — Madrid, Bucharest, Montreal.

Halep (24 y/o) enjoys currently a 3-1 score in her direct matches with Keys (21 y/o), whom he has also defeated in 2014, in the second round in Rome 5-7, 6-0, 6-1, and this year in Wimbledon, in the eighths 6-7 (7), 6-4, 6-3. The US player's only success to Halep was penned in 2014, in the first round in Sydney 6-1, 6-4.

Simona Halep has secured a USD 497.700 cheque and 900 WTA points.
