Nora Gjakova wins the golden medal in “African Open Tunis”

Judo fighter from Kosovo, Nora Gjakova started 2016 in a positive way. She won the golden medal “African Open Tunis 2016”, which was held in Tunisia, by winning 100 Olympic points.

In the final, Gjakova defeated her opponent, Helen Recevaux and she may well be on her way to Rio.

“This is a good start for sport in Kosovo, as Nora won her first medal. Everything went well in Tunis. Nora is within the Olympic norms, but the biggest challenge will last until 1 June, when we will receive an answer for participation in the Olympic games”, declared the coach of the sportswoman in question, Dritan Kuka. /ibna/
