Macron: France willing to further support efforts for a Cyprus solution
At the presser that followed the official visit of Cypriot President, Nicos Anastasiades, to Paris and his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, France's head expressed his country's willingness to do more towards a Cyprus issue solution.

Macron stressed that if France is asked to do so, it could be more engaged, not forgetting to mention the "excellent bilateral relations", as CNA reports, and their very good economic cooperation. Moreover, he spoke of the "activities of the French company TOTAL in Cyprus’ Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), saying that Paris fully supports its presence in Cyprus."

The Cyprus Presidency's press release stressed how strong friendship bonds the two countries share and expressed both Cyprus and France's wish to strengthen them "in all fields, including Energy.".../IBNA
