Kosovo: Early elections and political coalitions
Deadline for the registration of party coalitions at the Central Election Commission of Kosovo for the early elections which are set to take place on June 11, expired last night at midnight.

Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) has reached a coalition with the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Incentive for Kosovo and several other small parties.

On the other hand, Democratic League of Kosovo has entered a coalition with New Kosovo Alliance party which is chaired by the prominent entrepreneur, Behgjet Pacolli.

The head of LDK, Isa Mustafa declared that the agreement between the two parties focuses on economic development and Kosovo’s accession in European Atlantic structures.

“We will work together on the main sectors affecting the development of the country and also for the European Atlantic integration of the country. We will head to victory with AKR”, Mustafa said.

Meanwhile, the vice chairman of PDK, Enver Hoxhaj commented the coalition with AAK and Incentive for Kosovo.

Hoxhaj said that the coalition has nominated Ramush Haradinaj, leader of AAK as the future Prime Minister.

“Citizens of Kosovo deserve to have a team which offers results”, said the deputy chairman of PDK.

In the June 11 elections, Self Determination Party and its Prime Minister nominee Albin Kurti, has decided to run on its own. /balkaneu.com/
