Industrial production increases by 0.6% monthly and by 7.4% annually in Cyprus in February 2017
In March 2017 compared with February 2017, seasonally adjusted industrial production fell by 0.1% in the euro area (EA19) and remained stable in the EU28, according to estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.

In February 2017 industrial production also fell by 0.1% in the euro area and remained unchanged in the EU28 and increased in Cyprus by 0.6% in monthly and 7.4% in annual basis. Data for February are the latest available for Cyprus.

In March 2017 compared with March 2016, industrial production increased by 1.9% in the euro area and by 2.4% in the EU28.

In a monthly basis,the largest decreases  were registered in Lithuania (-3.1%), Greece (-2.0%) and the Netherlands (-1.7%), and the highest increases in Romania (+2.6%), Estonia (+2.4%), Poland (+2.1%) and France (+2.0%).

In an annual basis, the highest increases in industrial production were registered in Estonia (+14.8%), Romania (+10.2%) and Latvia (+10.0%). A decrease was observed in the Netherlands (-2.2%)./IBNA
