FM Kasoulides to attend the 2nd Athens International Conference on pluralism and peaceful coexistence in the Middle East
Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ioannis Kasoulides, is presently in Athens (October 30) to participate in the 2nd International Conference of Athens on Religious and Cultural Pluralism and Peaceful Co-existence in the Middle East.

In his interventions, Kasoulides intends to inform on the contribution of Cyprus to the fight against terrorism, to addressing asymmetric threats and to stress the need to protect religious minorities, particularly Christians in the Middle East.

The minister will also refer to the Nicosia Convention on Offenses Concerning Cultural Goods, which, among other things, criminalizes the illicit trafficking of cultural goods, as well as other activities of Cypriot foreign policy in this direction./IBNA
