Ex-FinMin of Romania to be prosecuted for bribery
Sebastian Vladescu, a former minister of Finance in Romania is being under the spotlight as "prosecutors from the National Anticorruption Department (DNA)", romania-insider.com reads, "have requested the President’s green light to prosecute" him for two bribery offences.

All people involved in the case -another four plus the former Finance minister- have had financial positions. "Four other people are investigated under judicial control on bail in the same case, namely former MP Cristian Boureanu, Ionut Costea, a former state secretary in the Ministry of Finance and a former president of EximBank, Constantin Dascalu, state secretary in the Ministry of Transport, and Mihaela Mititelu, a person close to the management of railways company CFR."

The case revolves around the recovery of the Bucharest-Constanta railway line as well as around the "rehabilitation works on another railway line".... / IBNA
