Eight companies of Greek or mixed interests included in the list of 200 largest businesses in fYROM in 2016
Eight companies of greek or mixed interests are included in the list of 200 biggest businesses in fYROMacedonia in 2016, recently published by Skopje's economic magazine, Kapital.

In third place, as in the year before, the "OKTA" (of the ELPE Group), by far the largest fuel supplier in the country, with a turnover of EUR 311 mln (5.6% lower than last year), followed by the cement industry "USJE-TITAN" (TITAN Group) with a turnover of EUR 72.4 mln (0.2% lower than last year), while in 24th place is the supermarket chain "Veropoulos", with a turnover of EUR 70.7 mln (0.5% higher than last year) .

FYROM's 200 largest companies also include "Pivara Skopje" (Coca Cola HBC - Heineken, 35th), "Dojran Steel" (SIDENOR Group 46th), AKTOR (57th), "Zito Luks" (Elbisco 135th) and 'Mermeren Kombinat' (Pavlidis Marbles-Granites, 144th).

Overall, the turnover of the above-mentioned Greek companies corresponds to 7% of the turnover of the two hundred bigger companies in fYROMacedonia. In terms of profitability, USJE-TITAN (6th in the overall ranking with a profit of EUR 19.5 mln) is ranked highest among the companies of greek interests, followed by 'Pivara Skopje' (10th with EUR 12,4 mln) and Veropoulos (14th with a profit of EUR 8.9 mln).

In the 200 more profitable businesses in fYROMacedonia are also included "AKTOR", "OKTA", "Mermeren Kombinat", "Arini Fesn" (clothing), Sarantis (cosmetics distribution) and Rontis (medical aids). A remarkable increase in earnings was recorded by "OKTA" (408%) and "AKTOR" (286.4%)./IBNA
