EC's Winter Report positive for Croatia's GDP

EC's Winter Report positive for Croatia's GDP
The European Commission's 2018 Winter Report was issued on Wednesday, February 7 and the  forecast for Croatia is 2.8% GDP growth in 2018 and 2.7% in 2019.

The Croatian Prime Minister, Andrej Plenković who addressed Thursday’s cabinet session appeared positive and optimistic, saying that "the EC report was a continuation of the positive projections in the most important macroeconomic indicators, especially in terms of public debt which has even been given an upgrade by the EC", as HRT reads.

Plenković believes that this report proves the EC has actually "read" the country's financial development and how well it did in tourism and in battling unemployment. He added that the growth rate presented and projected in the report, puts Croatia "ahead of its projections of the EU as a whole.".../IBNA
