Cypriot government sees IMF economy report as positive
Cypriot Deputy Government Spokesman Viktor Papadopoulos said on Wednesday that the country’s leadership believes that the findings of a report on local economy, by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are positive.

The report was released on Tuesday and according to the IMF, Cyprus’s economy moves upward. The findings relieved the country’s government as last April’s forecasts were not as pleasant.

During a presser that took place earlier on Wednesday, at the Presidential Palace, after the Cypriot Cabinet meeting, the Deputy Government Spokesman said that “it is positive when an organisation like the IMF finds that the Cypriot economy is now steady, on a recovery course”, wrote the CNA.../IBNA
