Albanian journalists say that their integrity is threatened
The integrity of journalists in Albania is at risk. This is the alarm given today by the head of the Albanian Union of Journalists, Aleksander Çipa on the World Day of the Freedom of Press, which has been announced as such in 1993 by the UN Assembly General.

According to him, there’s a global tendency to challenge the integrity of journalists, in particular his mission at the service of public interest.

Çipa said that media in Albania employs 6200 people, out of whom 2600 are journalists.

He also added that that there have been no cases where the integrity and credibility of journalists has been confronted with new versions of technology. /ibna/
